Short Game Olympics:

On Friday night, August 1st, we held our "first annual" Short Game Olympics to start off our club championship weekend. We only had 16 participants, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. We plan to do this again next year, so make plans to attend it. I would really like to see more of us there next year. I want to extend a special "Thank You" to Bill Ives, who put a lot of effort into putting this event together. I thought there was a good variety of skill competitions and each was a lot of fun. Also, Thanks to Jon Schoch and Joe Lusardi for running the long drive contest.

Club Championship:

Our Club Championship was held on August 2 and 3. We had 64 competitors this year (down some from last year), so I hope that we can bring the number up again next year. The results are below - Congratulations to all of the flight winners! And when you see Bob Natale, be sure to congratulate him on being our 2008 Club Champion.

Junior / Senior + Senior Classic :

Reminder - The Senior Classic was originally scheduled for July 25th, but was rescheduled to Friday, August 22nd due to inclement weather. The Junior / Senior will be held on Sunday August 24th. The signup sheet and poster will be in the proshop by this weekend. The club website will also have the information shortly.
