Memorial Tournament:

Congratulations to all of our winners! From what I could tell, everyone had a good time, in spite of the heat. It was also my impression that everyone liked the idea of being able to eat right after your round instead of waiting until 5 PM. Based on your response so far, we’re planning on working it that way for future tournaments where dinner will be served. Let the board know your thoughts ….

Senior Match Play:

Signup for this event was scheduled to close at the club meeting last night. However, I have heard from a few of you that you still want to get in. We will leave the signup sheet in the pro shop until Saturday, June 14. After that, it will be closed. So if you really want to play, you’ll be sure to get to the pro shop before then.

New for 2008!! Four-man tournament:

Many of you have been asking about the signup for our upcoming tournament that is going to replace the Invitational. I’m pleased to report that the tournament committee has finalized the details and the signup sheet / poster should be in the pro shop by the time you see this email message. The tournament committee (Denny DePalma, Larry Anson and Jim Lanzillo) have put together what I think is going to be an outstanding event, and have negotiated with the staff at the restaurant to make this an excellent value. I hope to see many of you sign up for this. Let’s make this inaugural event a huge success! Here’s some details ….
