Your election ballots and banquet selections are due no later than Friday, October 3rd. If you were a trophy winner in any of the tournaments this year, please make every effort to attend the banquet so that you can receive your trophy (and the admiration of your fellow club members)

Snowbird Tournament

In spite of less than desirable weather, we had a pretty good turnout for the Snowbird tournament yesterday. Traditionally, I'm told that we always have at least one team disqualified from this event. I'm happy to report that, this year, my team (Dave DiRaimo, Bill, Ives, and Darrell Story, and I) are the progenitors of that proud and long established tradition. The tradition continues .

Snowbird results - Congratulations to all of our winners. Please note the way Hughes, Hilbert, Baker and Welch cleaned up. I think they should buy the drinks at the banquet . ;-)

There is one correction to the results - After looking at the scoring sheet, I discovered that an error had been made in the addition for the team with JD Habes, Larry Anson, Jon Schoch, and Rowland Billy. The score sheet showed a net scramble score of 68 - 9.42 = 57.58. It should have been 58.58, giving them a total of 119.58, rather than 118.58. As a result of this bookkeeping error, the next lowest team at 119.13 was Leon Ridikas, Ron Quattrocchi, Ryan Morgan, and Bruce Szczepanski.
