Welcome to the 2008 season of the Durand Eastman Golf Club, Inc. Tuesday Night League. We are looking forward to another great season of competitive golf, and hopefully some cooperative weather like last year. Please read over this information packet carefully. Everything you need to know about the league is included here. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact either of the league coordinators – Dave D’Aurelio or Chuck Foster. Season:

The 2008 league will run for 18 weeks, starting on Tuesday, April 22nd, and ending on Tuesday, August 19th. There will be two position rounds – The first on June 17th, and the final on August 19th. There is no league play on the night of the Meeting Day Tournament (May 13th). In the event of inclement weather, the league may elect to schedule make-up dates by extending the end of the season. The league schedule is attached at the end of this packet.

Format: 2 Man Best Ball, Team and Individual – Match Play

The team that has the individual low score on a hole wins that hole. The team winning the MOST holes wins the match. Handicaps for the match will be based on the difference between the lowest handicap player in the foursome and the rest of the foursome. In addition to the team match, each player in the foursome will play an individual match against a player from the opposing team. Examples #1 and #2 below explain the format in more detail.
